Britney (Brown) Branson enters her fifth year with the Golden Eagles women’s volleyball program.

Branson grew up in Edwards, Colorado and attended Battle Mountain High School. In high school she was a prepvolleyball.com All-American, American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American, 4A Player of the Year, Rocky Mountain News First Team All-State, Denver Post First Team All-State, 2006 State Champion, Colorado State Tournament MVP and Academic All-State Honorable Mention.

Britney played collegiately at the Division 1 level for Northeastern University where she was a 4 year starter, earned All-Conference in 2008-2010, was the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year. She was a Student Undergrad Assistant Coach in the 2011-2012 season for Northeastern. Branson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Britney also played professionally in Sweden for the 2012-2013 season.

Branson has helped produce the 2014 Region IX North Setter of the Year, one NJCAA D1 National Player of the Week, three Region IX All-Region Honoree, five WCCAC All-Conference Honorees and six Region IX North All-Tournament Team Honorees

Branson coaches club volleyball for Windy City Juniors Volleyball Club in Cheyenne. She enters her fourth season with WCJ as the 16’-1 Head Coach.

Branson and her husband Matt reside in Cheyenne, Wyoming and a have a newborn child (Avery).
