La Junta, CO – The Laramie County Community College volleyball team didn't give up a set in their 3-0 sweep of Otero Junior College on the road Tuesday.

LCCC (15-5) won by scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-21. The navy and gold hit .284 in the match.

The Golden Eagles broke and early lead in set one and were able to coast for the victory. The second set was tight with the match at 10-10 and then LCCC was able to pull away. LCCC trailed in the third set up until 19-19 and then took the momentum to storm back and win the set.

Kyra Brandt (Amsterdam, Netherlands) had a stellar performance handing out 31 assists. Macy Bourn (Frederick, Colorado) headlined the defense with 13 digs.

Kylie Martin (Gypsum, Colorado) and Carlee Morrison (Gypsum, Colorado) topped the offense with 11 kills apiece, while Avery Nelson (Colorado Springs, Colorado) posted seven. Payton Stack (Casper, Wyoming) contributed with five kills.  

Laramie County remains on the road as they travel on Friday to Sheridan College in Region IX action at 7 p.m.
