The LCCC volleyball team took the season sweep with a Region IX North win on Friday night over Central Wyoming College in Riverton, Wyoming.
The Golden Eagles earned their 20th win of the season with a 25-16, 25-22, 25-22 win over Central Wyoming.
The Golden Eagles (20-6, 6-1) are in a tie for the top of the standings in the Region. They will be back in action on Saturday against Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs at 3 p.m.
Lindsay Vanderwood led LCCC with a team-high 10 kills with a .261 kill attack advantage, while Kiley Ridgway, Elizabeth Clark, Carlee Morrison and Preston Lienemann had seven kills in the win over the Wrestlers. Morrison added a team-high 18 digs in the match. Tori Passarelli added 14 digs as the Golden Eagles libero. Makenzie DiGesualdo's 22 assists helped lead LCCC to 44 kills in the match.
LCCC kill percentage was .173 and recorded six aces on serves.
