LCCC volleyball hosted Region IX North foe Sheridan College and defeated them in straight sets 25-13, 25-17, 26-24 Friday night in Cheyenne.

Laramie County held the advantage in hitting percentage with .211% in the match and held the Generals to -.082 percent.

Carlee Morrison led the Golden Eagles with six kills, while Elizabeth Clark and Madi Taylor had five apiece. Preston Lienemann had 15 digs for the match high, while Morrison had 11. Makenzie DiGesualdo led with 14 assists in the match.

LCCC is back in action Saturday afternoon, hosting No. 18 Northwest College at 3 p.m.
