Cheyenne, WY – The Golden Eagles women's soccer team is looking to get back to the NJCAA National Tournament for a third time in a row after a successful 2016 season. LCCC finished 19-2-3 last year and finished third at the National Tournament.
The Golden Eagles finished ranked 3rd in the country. They have another tough schedule as they open up with two of the top Division II programs in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Association in Regis University and Metro State University in scrimmages.
They open the regular season in La Junta, Colorado on August 25 and 26 with matchups against Otero Junior College and Western Texas College. The following weekend they will host Salt Lake Community College and Iowa Western Community College.
The Golden Eagles lost to Tyler Junior College in the semi-finals and will look to seek revenge as they travel to Texas on September 9th to play Tyler JC.
