Three Golden Eagles Receive NJCAA All-American Honors

A third place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament has earned a total of three women's soccer Golden Eagles a spot on the All-American Team. Forward Jemma House (SO/Newcastle, Australia), defender Sarah Erickson (SO/Cheyenne, Wyoming) and goalkeeper Jess Urquhart (SO/Sydney, Australia) were named to the All-American First Team.

House scored 32 goals and gave out four assists this past season. Over her two years at LCCC she scored 47 goals in 44 matches. Erickson and Urquhart lead LCCC's stellar defense that had very impressive numbers throughout the year with 11 shutouts in the season and only allowed 16 goals. Urquhart started all 22 games for the Golden Eagles had a total of 57 saves. Erickson as a central defender still managed to score four goals and dish out five assists.

LCCC finished 19-2-3 on the year capturing the 2016 Region IX Championship, District C Championship and a third place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament.
