Laramie County Community College sophomore Aubrey Schneider strike from the penalty spot punched the Golden Eagles ticket to the National Tournament with a shootout win against Snow College. The Golden Eagles will represent District C at the NJCAA National Tournament in Melbourne, Florida.

Shauni Giffiths, Natalie De Marco and Abby Morillon were three other Golden Eagles who converted from the spot on the shootout. Jess Urquhart stopped shot number four for the Badgers to create the opportunity for Schneider.

Urquhart made seven saves in the match for the Golden Eagles. Hanna Johnson made 14 saves for the Badgers.

LCCC improved to 18-1-2 overall and will look to be one of the top four seeds in the NJCAA National Tournament.

With the win, LCCC secured a trip to the National Tournament for the eighth time in their history. The tournament will run from Nov. 14-19 and information can be found at: http://www.efsctitans.com/tournaments/wsoc/2016-17/index
