CHEYENNE, WY – The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles women's basketball fell 74-65 in their regular season opener against Northwest College at home.
The Golden Eagles were led by Karli O'Brien (Rapid City, South Dakota) who had a team-high 19 points. Sarah Kruthaupt (Las Vegas, Nevada) and Madison Hamm (Fort Collins, Colorado) each had 14 points. Hamm was just shy of a double-double as she pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
The Trappers of Northwest College were led by Dani McManamen who had 18 points.
As a team the Golden Eagles shot 29.7 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from the three-point line. LCCC did turn the ball over 30 times in the contest.
LCCC 0-1 overall will be back in action as they host Fort Carson on Friday at 5 p.m.
