RIVERTON, Wyoming - Mariah Sheets led the Golden Eagles with nine points but it wasn't enough as Laramie County Community College fell 64-49 to Central Wyoming College on Tuesday.

Sheets also pulled down three rebounds and had an assists in the game. Madison Hamm had a team-high nine rebounds. Randi Elisson led the team in assists with two. Central Wyoming held a tight lead early on but were able to get on a run to take a 39-25 lead into halftime.

The Golden Eagles shot 27.8 percent overall from the floor (20-72), and 20 percent from behind the three-point line (4-20). The Rustlers went 22-61 from the floor, and hit seven of their 17 shots from 3-point range.

Amanda Mitchell led Central Wyoming College with 18 points, followed by Atajma Criss-Felton with 15 points. Mitchell and Olivia Thompson led with nine rebounds, Criss-Felton, Kyla Paulus and Bailey Forney contributed a team-high three assists.

Laramie County returns to action on Friday, Nov. 18 against Central Wyoming College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
