Laramie County Community College Women's Basketball team was back on the court for the first in over 20-years up in Sheridan, Wyoming for the Sheridan Classic. The Golden Eagles lost the opener 73-60 to Fort Carson.

LCCC (0-1) will be back in action playing the host Sheridan College at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Dome.

Freshman Darian Hale and Caylin Arnold scored 16 and 14, respectively, for LCCC. Hale also grabbed seven rebounds and two steals. Teammate Katelyn Smith also recorded two steals.

LCCC shot 43.4 percent from the field and went 9-for-16 at the free throw line. Fort Carson managed to shoot 41.3 percent from the field and went 9-for-21 at the three-point line. Eli Cosme led Fort Carson with 22 points.
