LCCC Men's Rodeo Takes 4th at Chadron Rodeo; Women Finish 9th

The Laramie County Community College men's rodeo team took fourth in their first rodeo of the season behind some solid performances in steer wrestling and team roping. LCCC's Gage Greer took first in the steer wrestling and teammate Terrel Vineyard finished fourth. As a team the men racked up 235 points on the weekend.

The women's team finished ninth at the rodeo. Megan Turek finished third with an average 34.24 on two rides in the barrel racing. Kerby Anderson placed sixth in the break-away roping with an average of 102.7.

  • Megan Turek finished third in the barrel racing with an average of 34.24.
  • Terrel Vineyard placed fourth in the steer wrestling with an average of 13.3.
  • Kerby Anderson took sixth in the break-away roping with a long-go time of 2.7. No time on the short-go.
  • Vineyard and Tate Mathis received sixth in the team roping with a long-go time of 7.8. No time on the short-go.
  • Brady Joseph and Doug Finney recorded seventh in the team roping with a long-go time of 8.0. No time on the short-go.
  • Turek came in eighth in the goat tying with an average of 16.6.
  • Rance Johnson placed eighth in the tie-down roping with a long-go time of 11.8. No time on the short-go.
  • Reed Johnson finished eighth in the steer wrestling with a long-go time of 7.6. No time on the short-go.
  • Bailey Brown nabbed 10th in the break-away roping with a long-go time of 3.4. No time on the short-go.
  • Cameron Fanning and Riley Simmons took 10th in the team roping with a long-go time of 9.2. No time in the short-go.
 

LCCC travels to Sheridan, Wyoming this weekend for the Sheridan College Rodeo.
