A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, Dimitri Sophias joines the Golden Eagles for the second time after playing for the team in the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

 

While with the Golden Eagles, Sophias scored five goals with three assists as a freshman and added four more goals and three more assists as a sophomore. The team would go 28-9-3 during his two years with the school. 

 

After graduation, Sophias continued his education at Colorado State University where was able to start a 12 year career in video production, which he is hoping to use to help promote the team and players more moving forward. 

 

As a coach, he did spend three years in Fort Collins coaching club soccer, compiling a record of 15-9 while focusing on player development.
