CHEYENNE, WY - The No. 14 ranked LCCC Golden Eagles (2-1) got the offense going Saturday morning in a 6-0 win over Northeast (1-4).

Four of the six goals scored by the Golden Eagles came from Christian Nunez (Lafayette, Colo.) and Abe Lopez (Boulder, Colo.) as each scored a pair of goals in the win.

Lopez got the Golden Eagles on the board in the 11th minute, beating the keeper in a one-versus-one opportunity, putting the Golden Eagles in front, 1-0. 

20 minutes later, Nunez opened his account on the day, scoring a goal in the 31st minute on a shot from 18 yards out, pushing the advantage to 2-0.

Nunez didn't wait long before scoring his second, punching in a pass from Jared Ramos (Thornton, Colo.) to make it a 3-0 lead. 

The Golden Eagles scored two quick goals in the first four minutes of the second half as Omar Castruita (Boulder, Colo.) scored in the 48th minute and Lopez added his second in the 49th.

Alexis Flores (Aurora, Colo.) scored his first goal of the season in the 85th minute on a penalty for the Golden Eagles' sixth goal of the day.

LCCC is back in action on Friday, hosting Southern Nevada at noon.
