CHEYENNE, WY - Jonathan Jimenez-Flores (Longmont, Colo.) scored the only goal of the match helping the Golden Eagles (4-1-1) beat Northwest (4-2) 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon. 

Neither team had many chances in the first half as the Golden Eagles and Trappers played a scoreless first half.

Jimenez-Flores scored the only goal of the game, striking a ball past the keeper in the 82nd minute on a flick-on from Noe Ortiz-Pena to give the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead. 

Manny Tapia (Longmont, Colo.) made his first career start in goal, stopping all nine shots on target. 

The Golden Eagles head to Otero on Friday at 11:00 am.
