CHEYENNE, WY - The Golden Eagles (3-1-1) scored a season-high six goals in a 6-0 win over Central Wyoming (0-2) on Monday afternoon at Cheyenne East High School.

Omar Castruita (Boulder, Colo.) scored a goal and recorded four assists in the win. Castruita set up the first goal for the Golden Eagles by sending a through ball to Bryan Vazquez (Denver, Colo.) who finished in the 29th minute to give the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead.

The Golden Eagles added to the lead in the 36th minute when Jonathan Jimenez-Flores (Longmont, Colo.) beat the keeper to the far post on a penalty kick, extending the advantage to 2-0.

Manny Tapia (Longmont, Colo.) scored the next two goals, scoring in the 50th and 56th minute, both assisted by Castruita, upping the lead to 4-0.

Castruita's goal came in the 67th minute, hitting a shot from 10 yards out on an assist from Abe Lopez (Boulder, Colo.).

Tanner Smith (Northglenn, Colo.) scored the final goal of the day, hitting a shot from 15 yards out in the 71st minute, to push the lead to 6-0.

The Golden Eagles will head to Otero on Friday, playing the Rattlers at 6:00 pm.
