LCCC Men’s Soccer Can’t Find Back Of Net In Loss at Sheridan

SHERIDAN, Wyoming – The Golden Eagles found themselves the hard-luck team once again on Saturday.

The Laramie County Community College men's soccer team couldn't find the back of the net, suffering a 1-0 setback at Sheridan College in an evenly-played contest.

Luke Gluhosky scored for the Generals, providing all the day's offense in the game, netting the goal in the 10th minute.

That proved to be just enough as the Golden Eagles (3-4 overall, 2-2 Region IX North) struggled to find the mark on offense, outshooting the Generals, 15-12, and 7-6 in shots on goal. Sheridan earned seven corner kicks to just six for Laramie County.

Brady Mangel (Thornton, Colorado) made five saves in the match and Tyler Ring stopped all seven shots for Sheridan to help preserve the victory.

The Golden Eagles look to break out of their offensive woes on Tuesday when they return to the pitch to against #20 Northeastern Junior College at 6:30 p.m. at East High School.
