CHEYENNE, WY - Sophomore Ghared Boyce (Brockton, Mass.) scored a career-high 35 points in a 105-86 win over Trinidad State (0-2) on Friday afternoon. 

For the third time this season, the LCCC Golden Eagles scored 100+ points in a game. The Golden Eagles found themselves trailing midway through the first half as the Trojans went on a 9-0 run to take a 24-20 lead. Arion Lewis (Philadelphia, Pa.) snapped the run with a three and later tied the game at 28 with another triple. Lewis finished with 18 points in the game.

LCCC took a 45-39 lead into the locker room as Boyce scored 20 of his 35 points in the first half.

The Golden Eagles offense got hot in the second half, outscoring the Trojans, 60-47 in the second, on their way to the 105-86 win. 

Marko Maletic (London, Ontario) scored 16 points, going 4-for-7 from the three-point line. 

Erik Oliver (Cheyenne, Wyo.) ended the night with 15 points and has scored double figures in all six games this season. Xavier McCord (Cheyenne, Wyo.) tallied 10 points in the win.
