LAMAR, CO – The Laramie County Community College men's basketball team handed a loss to Lamar Community College in South Sub Region play Saturday afternoon as the Golden Eagles won 82-75.

The Golden Eagles (12-8, 6-2) have now placed themselves in first place of the South Sub Region conference. They will look to get their seventh region win on Wednesday at the RAC. Game time is at 7 p.m.

LCCC was led by Elijah Oliver who had 20 points. Freshman Da'Zhon Wyche added 18 points and seven assists. Dominik Heinzl was a beast on the block as he had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double.

As a team the Golden Eagles shot 50.8 percent from the field and 40 percent from the three point line.
