This week's Athletes of the Week came from the LCCC Esports team as they entered their postseason in multiple titles and were led by a pair of standout athletes on the consoles. 

Andrew Santuff has been a do-it-all player for the Golden Eagles and has played seven titles in his career over the span of two seasons, but has really thrived in Call of Duty. This season he helped the 4v4 team to the Invitational Semifinals before they fell to the top seeded University of South Carolina - Sumpter Fire Ants on Tuesday, and he is currenlty on the Warzone team which is in postseason competition as we speak. 

We talked with Santhuff about his journey onto the esports team and what drives him as a compeititor in an interview earlier this week!

Kiara Kershaw has been a relatively new addition to the Golden Eagle gamers after spending her fall with the LCCC women's soccer team. Her late appearence hasn't changed the fact that she has helped to lead a resurgence with the Rainbow 6: Siege team and has them in the postseason for the first time. She stepped right into the roll of team captain and has them into the semifinals of the NJCAAe postseason where they will face off with #2 USC Sumpter in the semifinals on Tuesday, April 18th at 4:30 pm.

We talked with Kershaw about the balance of playing two sports at the same time and what got her into one of the older titles in the league as a kid, as well as what she hopes to see from the team this season!
