This week our Athlete of the Week comes from the LCCC volleyball team after Demi Stauffenberg set a career high with 21 kills against Western Nebraska to help the Golden Eagles to their first win over the Cougars since the return of the program in 2003. 

The Golden Eagle finished the week with 53 kills and helped the team to a 3-1 record on the weekend. She is currently in the top 50 in the country in kills and the team is off to one of their best starts in program history at 16-4 after defeating Eastern Wyoming College at home on Tuesday night. 

We talked with Demi about the success both the team has had and how she has been cementing her legacy as a Golden Eagle!
