Sarah Charron began at LCCC in September of 2021 and has been handling the athletic training needs for the Golden Eagles since.
A former Golden Eagle herself, Charron graduated from LCCC with an associates of science in exercise science before earning her bachelors degree from the University of Wyoming in 2018, focusing in kinesiology and health promotion. She went on to get her masters in athletic training from Northern Arizona University in 2020. She also is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association, the Wyoming Athletic Trainers Association, and is the chair of the Honors and Awards Committee for the WyoATA.
Charron returned to Wyoming after earning her masters, working with Wyoming Orthopedic and Sports Medicine where she focused on covering Cheyenne South HS before taking the job with LCCC.
Helping athletes reach there best has been the goal of Charron since beginning her path in health sciences, and it was a way to stay involved in athletics even beyond her playing days. Outside of work, she spends her time with her husband outdoors, enjoying the opportunities that Wyoming offers, as well as helping with youth soccer events across the state in her free time.
