A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Erika brings 12 years of youth and collegiate experience to LCCC.

As a player, she spent her time at NCAA Division I Coastal Carolina for four years, graduating in 2012. In 2009, she was a member of the Chataucleers team that captured the Big South Conference Championship. After College, Chateau began pursuing a professional career in France for the Villejuif Club for three years from 2014 until 2016. 

He coaching career began right after college in Myrtle Beach with the Grand Strand Juniors Volleyball Club. While in France, she also spent time as the Baby Volleyball Villejuif Club head coach. After wrapping up her professional career, she returned to the United States and was the assistant Coach at Anderson University from 2016-2017. 

Returning home to Colorado in 2017, Chateau coached the boys varsity team at Doherty High School and has spent time coaching multiple high school and club teams since from Florida to Wyoming, most recently in Cheyenne with the Wyoming Whirlwind 14U Club. 

Traveling the world as an active duty member of the United States Air Force, Erika elects to volunteer her time by sharing her passion for the sport.
