Trinidad, CO – The Golden Eagles volleyball team (7-4) swept their matchup at Trinidad State Junior College on Wednesday with a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-20, and 25-22). Laramie County played well in the attack in front of the net.

LCCC got off to a good start in the opening set against the TSJC Trojans and carried that momentum all the way through. Avery Nelson, Jessica Benedict and Sara Gabriel each notched eight kills in the match. Kyra Brandt had another big day, handing out 15 total assists. Renae Davis added 11 assists. Macy Bourn totaled 22 digs with Brandt adding eight on the backline for LCCC.

Laramie County is back in action today at Garden City Community College for a 7 p.m. match with the Bronc Busters.
