Scivally powers Golden Eagles to win over Rustlers

CHEYENNE, WY - The No. 11 ranked Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles (12-2-2) defeated the Central Wyoming Rustlers (2-13) 6-0 on Monday afternoon. 

The Golden Eagles held most of the possession in the first 20 minutes, having some early runs ruled offsides. 

Jayla Wulff (Laramie, Wyo.) broke the scoreless deadlock with a goal in the 30th minute, taking a pass from Jenaya Brown (Edmonton, Alberta) and striking a ball past the keeper from the top of the box, giving the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead. 

Brown opened the second half by extending the Golden Eagles' lead to 2-0, putting a ball over the goalkeeper in the 46th minute, her ninth goal of the season. 

Erika Scivally (Saratoga Springs, Utah) pushed the lead to 3-0 in the 52nd minute, tapping in a cross for her second goal of the season. Scivally extended the lead to 4-0 just seconds later, scoring her second goal of the game and her third of the season in the 53rd minute. 

The Golden Eagles weren't done scoring as Hanah Cornaby (Springville, Utah) scored her third goal of the season in the 71st minute, upping the advantage to 5-0. Andi Hunsicker (Douglas, Wyo.) added the Golden Eagles' sixth goal of the day seconds later, tapping in a cross from Mattiese Loretan (Caves Beach, Australia) in the 71st minute for her fifth goal of the season.
