CHEYENNE, WY - The No. 7 ranked Golden Eagles (4-0) extended their season-opening win streak to four games with a 4-1 win over Southern Nevada (1-4) on Friday afternoon. 

Jenaya Brown (Edmonton, Alberta) opened the scoring quickly, giving the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead in the third minute of the game, beating the keeper to give the LCCC a 1-0 lead. 

A pair of Golden Eagles' freshmen scored within a 10-minute span as Hanah Cornaby (Springville, Utah) doubled the Golden Eagles' lead at 2-0 in the 24th minute. Hailey Warren (Pleasant Grove, Utah) made it a 3-0 game in the 34th minute scoring from 20 yards out off a pass from Cornaby. 

Southern Nevada scored its only goal of the match in the 47th minute before Ainsley Basich (Cheyenne, Wyo.) got that goal back, scoring in the 67th minute to put the game away.

The Golden Eagles are back in action on Sunday, hosting Butler Community College at 10:00 am.
