CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Laramie County Community College sophomore defender Shaney McCabe (Dundee, Scotland) has been named a First Team Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.

McCabe, who also earned First Team All-American honors, carries a 3.79 cumulative GPA as an Exercise Science major. She scored six goals and dished out three assists this past season as a defender. She started in all 15 games that she played in.

The First Team All-Region IX defender was fifth on the team in total points. In two years at LCCC, she has scored 10 goals and dished out six assists.
