Women’s Soccer Meredith, McCabe & Robinson Garners All-American Accolades

CHEYENNE, WY – Laramie County Community College women's soccer sophomores Shaney McCabe (Dundee, Scotland) and Faith Meredith (Cheyenne, Wyoming) have earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team, announced on Thursday. Beyonce Robinson (Ontario, Canada) earned a spot on the Second Team.

A native of Dundee, Scotland, McCabe gained First Team All-Region IX honors unanimously.

For the season, she ranked fifth on the team in points as a defender (15), was fourth on the team in goals with six as a centerback, dished three assists and started in all 15 games she played in. McCabe was part of a group that posted nine clean sheets.

A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Meredith is a two-time All-Region IX selection and was named to the NJCAA All-America Team.

For the season, she led the team in assists with 11 on the year. Meredith played and started in all 19 games on the season. Over the course of her career, she scored 21 goals and dished out 14 assists. Her 16 goals this past season were second best on the team.

Robinson, a native of Brampton, Ontario, Canada led the Golden Eagles in goals on the season with 20. She also recorded seven assists on the season. She started in all 19 matches she played in for the Golden Eagles.

In 2019, the Golden Eagles posted an overall record of 15-2-2, while registering an undefeated 10-0 mark in Region IX play, before falling in the Region IX Championship game. The Golden Eagles received an at-large bid to the NJCAA National Tournament and split their matches beating Monroe Community College and falling to Monroe College.

In the final national rankings, Laramie County stood at 6th in the NJCAA poll.
