Women’s Soccer Meredith Gains Second Team All-America Honors

CHEYENNE, WY – Laramie County Community College women's soccer sophomore midfielder Faith Meredith has earned Second Team NJCAA All-America honors, becoming the Golden Eagles' 23rd selection announced on Thursday morning.

Meredith (Cheyenne, Wyoming) a two-time All-Region selection, played a critical role in helping the Golden Eagles reach another NJCAA National Tournament. She led the team in assists with 11 on the year.

A First Team All-Region choice this fall, Meredith played and started in all 19 games on the season. Over the course of her career, she scored 21 goals and dished out 14 assists. Her 16 goals this past season were second best on the team.

The Golden Eagles posted an overall record of 15-2-2, while registering an undefeated 10-0 mark in Region IX play. LCCC fell in the Region IX Championship game but received an at-large bid to the NJCAA National Tournament.

At the tournament, LCCC defeated Monroe Community College and then fell to Monroe College.
