CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles women's soccer team had eight players selected for All-Region IX honors as the postseason honors were announced Monday, Nov. 11.

Faith Meredith (Cheyenne, Wyoming), Beyonce Robinson (Ontario, Canada), Larissa Sitzler (Hamburg, Germany) and Shaney McCabe (Dundee, Scotland) were selected to the All-Region IX First Team. Taylor Meyrick (Cheyenne, Wyoming) and Amber Carlson (Cheyenne, Wyoming) were named to the All-Region IX Second Team. Eli Olsen (Buffalo, Wyoming) and Thalita Portela Faria (Sao Paulo, Brazil) received Honorable Mention All-Region IX honors.

Laramie County, 14-1-2 on the season, earned an at-large bid to the NJCAA National Tournament. LCCC will play Monroe Community College and Monroe College in their pool play.

Robinson leads the Golden Eagles in goals with 19 on the year and 45 points on the season. She also has seven assists on the year. Meredith is second in goals with 14 on the year and 38 points on the season. Faith leads the team in assists with 10. Sitzler started 16 games in goal for the Golden Eagles and has recorded 28 saves on the season and only allowed eight goals. McCabe started in all 15 games she played for LCCC this season prior to her foot injury. She scored six goals and dished out three assists on the year. McCabe was also on the 2018 All-Region IX First Team.

Meyrick has scored three goals on the year and has nine assists. Carlson has started in all 17 matches on the defense for the Golden Eagles and has a goal and two assists. Olsen, a defender has also started in all 17 matches and has a goal on the year.
