Loken and Stoeger Named to All-America Team

CHEYENNE – Katie Loken and Taylor Stoeger were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Team. Loken was named to the All-America First Team and Stoeger earned a spot on the All-America Second Team.

Loken, a sophomore from Cheyenne, Wyoming also was named to the NJCAA All-America First Team. She was also the Region IX Player of the Year. Loken was a dual threat on the defensive backline and midfield for the Golden Eagles. She started all 19 matches for the Golden Eagles and helped with 10 shutouts on the season and limited the Region IX opposition to just three goals in 11 games. She scored two goals and collected three assists on the year. Loken was a United Soccer Coaches All-American last year as well.

Stoeger, a sophomore from Green River, Wyoming was on the Region IX First Team and started in all 19 matches for the Golden Eagles. She scored 11 goals and dished out 10 assists this season.
