Laramie County Fall 61-41 on Road to Sheridan College

Sheridan College held Laramie County Community College to 14 points in the first half, out-scoring the Golden Eagles 31-14 at the half and collected a 61-41 win Saturday afternoon in Sheridan, Wyoming.

The Golden Eagles shot 30.4 percent overall from the field and 36.4 percent from the three-point line. The struggles came at the line for LCCC as they shot 3-18 from the foul line for 16.7 percent.

LCCC falls to 0-2 overall on the season. Darian Hale scored eight to pace the Golden Eagles. The freshman guard hit four of her 10 shots from the field. She added five rebounds and a steal.

Katelyn Smith, Mariah Sheets and Madison Hamm recorded six points. Hamm pulled down 10 rebounds while Sheets had four and Smith had two.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on November 15 as they travel to Riverton, Wyoming for a matchup with Central Wyoming College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
