LCCC Rodeo Competes at Sheridan College

SHERIDAN – Laramie County Community College rodeo team competed at the Sheridan College rodeo event last weekend with the women placing sixth and the men finishing seventh overall. Seth Green (Cheyenne, Wyoming) placed second overall with a score of 52 in the long go in the bull riding. Bernard Girard (Alliance, Nebraska) placed seventh in the long go, second in the short round and third overall in the steer wrestling.

Cord Roberts (Rapid City, South Dakota) came in fourth in the tie down roping event with a time of 21.0 on two heads. Justin Skarohlid (Cheyenne, Wyoming) was just behind him in fifth with a time of 22.0 on two runs. Brock Belkham (Flandreau, South Dakota) rounded up ninth in the event with a time of 9.5 second in the long go and a no score in the short round. Ian McGivney (Kaycee, Wyoming) scored a ride of 63 in the long go of the saddle bronc riding for a ninth place finish.

On the women's side, Sydney Graff (Long Pine, Nebraska) led the way with a time of 3.4 in the long go and a time of 4.4 for an overall time of 7.8 and a sixth place finish in the break away roping. Ashley Odenbach (Taylor, Nebraska) placed second in the long go round and finished seventh in the average with a time of 102.7. Sydney Adamson (Cody, Nebraska) took eighth with a time of 102.8 on two runs.

LCCC is back in action this weekend at the Central Wyoming College Rodeo in Riverton, Wyoming.
