Laramie County men's soccer adds offensive piece in Casey Hawkins

CHEYENNE, WY – The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer team signed another attacker this week in Casey Hawkins.

Hawkins is a six-foot striker who has most recently been playing club.

Prior to this period, the soon-to-be Golden Eagle was a student at Greeley Central High School, graduating in 2022. Hawkins played two sports at Greeley Central but soccer was his best and he recorded 23 career points while in high school, including eight goals as a senior.

Hawkins was also a member of the Colorado Rapids Select.

“Casey will bring a solid knowledge of the game with him when he arrives in Cheyenne,” Head Coach Fernando Perez said. “His experience in multiple settings gives him an advantage in the field and his size in the attack will benefit us.”

“I chose LCCC to continue my soccer career while getting my business degree,” Hawkins said.

The season begins for Laramie County on August 19th when they host Arizona Western in the home opener with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 pm.
