Men's soccer picks up regional signing in Christian Guzman

CHEYENNE, WY – The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer team picked up a new face in their attack for the 2023 season with the signing of Christian Guzman of Greeley, Colorado.

Guzman spent four years on the varsity with Greeley Central High School and was the leading goal scorer as a senior connecting on 15 of his attempts in 14 games. He played in 33 over the course of his career and finished with 23 goals and 50 total points for his team.

He has also spent time playing with BC United out of Boulder, Colorado where he played in several national showcases and was a Club America Selection.

“I am excited for the experience that Guzman brings to the team,” Head Coach Fernando Perez said. “His playing time in both high school and club has shown his talent and his ability to attack from the midfield will make him a great asset to our team.”

“I chose to play for Laramie County Community College for a chance to impact the team,” Guzman said. “I get to play in a high level of competition and have the chance to increase my opportunity to play at the next level.”

Guzman is the fourth member of the signing class for the Golden Eagles team for the fall season which will begin on August 12th with the annual Alumni Game.
