
CHEYENNE, WY - Erik Oliver (Cheyenne, Wyo.), Ghared Boyce (Brockton, Mass.), and Xavier McCord (Cheyenne, Wyo.) combined to score 86 points in a Golden Eagles (6-10, 3-1) 107-98 win over Western Wyoming (10-3, 3-1) on Saturday night.
The Golden Eagles shot lights out on Saturday night, going 31-51 from the field and 17-27 from the three-point line while breaking the century mark for the sixth time this season.
Oliver led all scorers with 38 points, going 4-8 from the three-point line.
The Golden Eagles outscored the Mustangs 54-41 in the first half and then opened the second half on an 11-4 run.
After scoring just five points in the first half, McCord scored 15 in the second to finish with 20 points, fueling another second-half run.
Western Wyoming cut the Golden Eagles lead down to nine but that would be the closest the Mustangs would get.
Boyce hit a career-best eight three-pointers on just 10 attempts, scoring 28 points.
Arion Lewis (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored eight points and had seven assists in the win.
