CHEYENNE, WY – Laramie County Community College freshman Chris Grace (Needville, Texas) scored 23 points, but it was not enough to power the Golden Eagles (2-10) as they fell 74-69 to Lamar Community College Friday evening at the RAC.

Grace connected on 8-of-17 field goals and 5-of-6 free throws, while grabbing nine rebounds and handing out four assists. Golden Eagles freshman Erik Oliver (Cheyenne, Wyoming) added 22 points and seven rebounds.

The game was tight the entire way and the Runnin' Lopes led 38-34 at the half.

In the second half, Lamar jumped out to a 10-2 run but LCCC stormed back and would make it tight at the end.

The Golden Eagles return to the hardwood on Saturday, December 14, hosting Trinidad State Junior College. Tip-off is 6 p.m. at the RAC.
