Laramie County Community College is happy to announce that the Golden Eagles men’s basketball game today against Gillette College will proceed as planned at 7:30 p.m. The women’s basketball team will take on Gillette College at 5:30 p.m.

LCCC was notified Thursday that Gillette College would forfeit the men’s game, resulting in an announcement from LCCC that the matchup was canceled. It was decided late Thursday the game would take place.

Both games will be held at the Blue Federal Credit Union Recreation & Athletics Complex on LCCC’s Cheyenne campus.

In addition to the action on the court, Sophomore Night recognitions for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams will be held immediately following the women’s game. Fans are encouraged to stay and celebrate the dedication and achievements of these student-athletes.

Both teams will be available for autograph signings after the conclusion of their respective games.
