The Athlete of the Week for the opening week of October comes from the men's soccer team!

Azael Marrufo was on fire on their road trip through Colorado with four goals to help lead the team to a pair of important Region IX wins!

His eight goals on the season has him tied for 15th in the country and he is looking for more as they prepare for the final stretch of games in the regular season. We talked with the sophomore about that push and what he is looking forward to about this team and their hunger for a trip to the national tournament.
