CHEYENNE – Laramie County Community College volleyball player Alessia Venturelli has signed a National Letter of Intent with NCAA Division I North Florida. The 5-6 freshman from Modena, Italy was a libero and defensive specialist for the Golden Eagles.
Venturelli appeared in 36 matches for the Golden Eagles this season and recorded 297 digs on the season. Those 297 were second-best on the LCCC squad. She had a career-high 25 digs in a match at Western Wyoming Community College on Sept. 29th. Alessia had 13 matches where she reached double-digit digs for LCCC.
She helped the Golden Eagles finish ninth at the NJCAA National Tournament and capturing a Region IX North Regular Season Title.
The Ospreys finished the year 11-22 and compete in the ASUN Conference.
