LCCC Volleyball Elizabeth Clark Inks with Dixie State

CHEYENNE – Laramie County Community College volleyball player Elizabeth Clark has signed a National Letter of Intent with NCAA Division II Dixie State University in St. George, Utah.

Clark a middle blocker for the Golden Eagles is from Sandy, Utah and appeared in all 41 matches this season for the Golden Eagles and helped the Golden Eagles reach the NJCAA National Tournament. She led the team in team blocks and was third in the country with 166 on the year. She had a team block game against Western Wyoming Community College in the Region IX tournament. She was fifth in the country with 1.30 blocks per set. She also recorded 217 kills on the year.

She played for the Golden Eagles in 2016 and then took a missionary trip last year before rejoining the Golden Eagles. For her career, she recorded 300 blocks, 437 kills, 97 digs and 36 service aces.

Clark was named to the 2018 All-Region IX Tournament Team.

Dixie State finished the season at 22-6 on the year and reached the NCAA Division II South Central Regionals. The Trailblazers compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
