Cheyenne, WY – The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles volleyball team is eager to get back on the court as they were just a couple points off from capturing the Region IX North title. The Golden Eagles had another successful season under head coach Austin Albers in his third year as they got to the Region IX North Championship game.
The team finished the 2016 campaign with a 28-10 record. The Golden Eagles finished ranked 17th in the country and will face some tough competition again in 2017. The non-conference schedule will have LCCC encountering College of Southern Nevada, Salt Lake Community College, Western Nebraska Community College and Snow College.
The regular season home opener for the Golden Eagles will be on August 22nd with matches against Trinidad State Junior College and Otero Junior College at 1 & 7 p.m.
