Passarelli Signs with Mississippi State University

Cheyenne, WY – Laramie County Community College volleyball player Tori Passarelli signed a National Letter of Intent with NCAA Division 1 Mississippi State University out of the Southeastern Conference.

The 5'4 libero from Littleton, Colorado made a big impact for the Golden Eagles on the defensive end as she recorded a total of 1103 digs in her two years at LCCC.

"It was just the right fit, from their coaching staff to the style of play that helped make my decision," said Passarelli. "Credit to coach Albers who has helped me develop my game over the two years and helped me become a better person, teammate, leader and player."

She was runner-up for Region IX North Libero of the Year. This past season she led the team in digs with 648 and was third in assists and serving aces with 498 and 40 respectively. Her 648 digs were sixth best in the country.  Tori was named to the Region IX North All-Region Team, All-Tournament Team.

The Golden Eagles finished 28-10 and placed 2nd at the Region IX North Tournament. The Bulldogs of Mississippi State finished 14-18 last fall.

She will be majoring in Criminal Justice at Mississippi State.
