CHEYENNE, WY - Grace Roswadovski (Gillette, Wyo.) scored a goal and notched an assist as the Golden Eagles (8-0) beat Northeastern (3-3-2) 2-0 on Friday afternoon.
LCCC opened the scoring early when Roswadovski punched home a rebound off the keeper to give the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute.
Roswadovski helped out on the second goal, feeding a ball to Ainsley Basich (Cheyenne, Wyo.) who beat the keeper from inside the box, extending the Golden Eagles lead to 2-0 in the 41st minute.
The Golden Eagles defense held Northeastern to just one shot, none on target.
Roswadovski and Basich combined for eight total shots, six on goal. The win was the Golden Eagles' eighth consecutive victory.
LCCC hosts Northwest tomorrow at noon.
