CHEYENNE – The Laramie County Community College women's soccer coaches were recognized as the Junior College West Region Staff of the Year by United Soccer Coaches.
Head Coach Jim Gardner along with assistant coach Rebecca Valdez and goalkeeper coach Kay Olivas led the Golden Eagles to a 15-2-2 record and a trip to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
Garner finishes his final season as head coach of the Golden Eagles with a 250-70-28 career record, making the national tournament 11 times in 18 seasons. He has captured 11 Region IX Championships and nine District B Championships.
