Rolf and Hobbs Ink with Schools

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Laramie County Community College women's soccer players Annie Rolf and Alexis Hobbs signed with NCAA Division II programs on Thursday. Rolf signed with the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida and Hobbs signed with Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Rolf, a sophomore from West Sussex, England was on the All Region IX First Team this past season and played in 18 matches for the Golden Eagles. She scored six goals and had five assists this past season. In her two years at LCCC she scored 19 goals and had 12 assists.

The Argonauts finished this past season 20-1 overall and only loss came in the first round of the NCAA National Tournament. They compete in the Gulf South Conference.

Hobbs, a sophomore from Kent, England started in all 19 matches this past season for the Golden Eagles. She gave out four assists and scored two goals. In her two years at LCCC, she had five assists and four goals.

The Lady Statesmen finished 8-9-1 this past season and compete in the Gulf South Conference. Both Hobbs and Rolf will square off next season against one another.

Both helped the Golden Eagles reach the NJCAA National Tournament once again.
