COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – The #8 Laramie County Community College women's soccer team created some opportunities in front of goal but the Golden Eagles fell 2-0 to #11 Iowa Western Community College.
Alex Boss buried a shot in the 13th minute to give the Reivers a 1-0 lead. They doubled their lead in the 38th minute. Laramie County found themselves trailing at the half.
IWCC outshot LCCC 10-9 in the match. Ellie Bowman (Essex, England) made four saves in the match.
LCCC will open up Region IX North action at home on Wednesday hosting Western Wyoming Community College at East High School at 7 p.m.
