Women’s Soccer Place Eight on All-Region Team

CHEYENNE – Laramie County Community College women's soccer team placed eight on the All-Region IX Team. Sophomore Nikita Woods (Corrimal, Australia) was named the Player of the Year. Taylor Stoeger (Green River, Wyoming) was named Freshman of the Year.

Voting for the All-Region team and major awards was conducted by the Region IX head coaches. Woods has 21 goals and 10 assists on year and has started in all 17 matches. Stoeger has 18 goals on the year and 18 assists and has started in 16 of the 17 matches. Her 18 assists are 9th best in the country.

LCCC is 16-1 on the year and enter the National Tournament as the three seed.
