POWELL, Wyoming – Laramie County Community College's high-powered offense led to a 6-0 win against Northwest College Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles scored goals in the 7th and 14th minute to mount an early lead and then added one more before the half in the 29th minute. Nikita Woods (Corrimal, Australia) got the first goal on pass from Natalie de Marco (Canberra, Australia). Katie Loken (Cheyenne, Wyoming) got the second on an assist from Taylor Stoeger (Green River, Wyoming). Annie Rolf (West Sussex, England) added the third on a pass from Abby Morillon (Cheyenne, Wyoming).

Following the break, LCCC added three more second half goals. Rolf got the fourth in the 55th minute on a pass from Maria da Silveira (Porto Alegre, Brazil). Woods got her second of the match in the 65th minute on a pass from Elise Atkins (Haxtun, Colorado). Stoeger added the sixth in the 71st minute on an assist from Loken.

Sophomore Kelly Morine (Denver, Colorado) started in goal for the Golden Eagles and recorded one save. Freshman Nicole Robinson (North Platte, Nebraska) came on to relieve Morine in the 66th minute and recorded a save.

Laramie County (10-1, 6-0) return to action on Wednesday as they host Gillette College at 4 p.m.
