Golden Eagles Defeat Reivers 5-0

Cheyenne, WY – Laramie County Community College won their fourth match of the season against Iowa Western Community College 5-0 on Sunday afternoon at home. The Golden Eagles outshot their guest 14-3 in the match and limited the Reivers shots on goal to three. LCCC put three goals in the first half.

LCCC got on the board in the 11^th minute when Nikita Woods found the back of the net on a pass from Taylor Stoeger. Jazmine Moyte made it 2-0 in the 25^th minute on an assist from Woods. Woods got her second of the match in the 39^th minute on a pass from Natalie De Marco.

Laramie County came out of the halftime break and stepped up their attack finding the net two more times. Elise Atkins made is 3-0 in the 62^nd minute as Stoeger notched her second assist. LCCC added the fifth goal in the 75 as Stoeger converted on a penalty kick.

The Golden Eagles will now travel to Texas where they will play Wiley College and Tyler Junior College next weekend.
