Marquelle enters her first season with the Golden Eagles Women's Basketball program. She is orginally from Laramie, Wyoming and played out her basketball career at the University of Wyoming and Regis Jesuit High School (Aurora, CO).

 

During her collegiate years at the University of Wyoming, Dent made the All-Mountain West Conference First Team twice, while also making two apprearances on the All-Defensive Team. She is the only player in UW Women's Basketball history with 1,000 points, 500 assists and 175 steals. 

 

She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in communications. Following graduation, she continued her basketball career overseas playing professionally in 2016 for Madeira Portugal.
